Impossible To Have Free Website Hosting Making a free good website.

I find it impossible to make a good and free website. I go to a website that said free. Here is exactly what is said; Free website just one click away you could have yourname.com domain! After I clicked the link.19.95 a month! Socan someone help me with my problems? I have a very low knowledge of html. I know some like the basic stuff. Fonts inserting image etc. Have any of you had this problem?And one more thing flash websites suck. Sorry for my language ^.^

domains are never free, you prolly get a free domain or free hosting when u sign up for the other which one.Try things like Xisto, or (although i dont reccommend others) try searching Free Cpanel Hosting on google

You will never get .com domains for free or whatsoever, unless by purchasing something or what... But you could get a subdomain when registering for free web hosting... Try out Trap 17 here and you'll get what you wanted, or you can grab one you're interested by going to the link at my sig that says "free web hosting"...

I agree, those ads that says free domains are really just scams. I have tried to search for free domains for a long time and I haven't really came across any. As for the free sub domains, there are some, but most still demand you allow them to place an ad on your website. So basically, those are not free either. Now the next question you should ask is are there any close to free domainss, my answer is yes, there are some for as low as 2.99 dollars, but thats just for 1 year, by the 2nd year thry are usually back to usual price. So unless you want to settle for a free subdomain, better be ready to cough up some money.

There is this website were I learned a lot about html:http://www.w3schools.com/ It not only is great on xhtml, but it also has css, javascript, and almost anything you need to get a website going. Besides having all that, it has a free exam on every subject to test your knowledge on the area. THey also write them down, very easily to read making it very clear.The almost very best part about that site is that it has online examples that you can even modify, its such a great site. I also recommend googling for it and you will find a bunch of places were you can learn html. It depends on which one you like, and which one you find easier to read.Good luck!

2 1/2 years ago. It cost me $9.95 a year and I have paid annually. I just get a bill in the mail that reminds me that I need to renew it. I see they are advertising $3.95 for the first year now. You can choose to have them host it for you if you want to pay, but you don't have to. I have used one other host before Trap 17 and haven't had any problems with directing the pointers to the hosting site. Active domain provides you with a control panel so you can take care of this. Take a look. My site has only cost me the $9.95 each year and most of us can afford this. The trick is getting free hosting. Now that you have found Trap 17, that problem is solved. Good Luck!

Trap17 is the best free hosting that I have had. I have had probably 10 other sites, but they all shut down. My last one shut down and it said something like, "Michael is an idiot and hacked our database." This service is reliable and has been up for over two years. I haven't had any problems here. BuffaloHelp and Opaque do a good job. All you have to do is post!

Of course, the offer is not entirely free, you must have 90 unique visitors in 60 or 90 days, so you must have a good website to have this visitors in each 60 or 90 days, which i think is not too much.

Of course, your website will have a banner, not very big, in the top of your website, but if you build a flash site, it will look cool, i tryed and it looks better then html website with that banner, but you must understand html, at least, to arrange things to look nice and compact in the end.

I do not want anything I just want to explain and talk about the situation. I mean what would it be like if you went to a website and it said here you go yourname.com Domain!
