csp4.0 1 Report post Posted February 25, 2009 Hello...I've been absent for quite a while :/But now, I'm back and I'm better than I was 3 seconds ago...Anyways...I know that Xisto forbids hosting of IRC servers...However...For example, I have a irc server at, lets say... irc.example.com, and I get some random java-based IRC client, and upload it to Xisto, so that it connects to irc.example.com... Is the reason that hosting IRC here is not allowed because the port is closed?And if so, does that mean that using VPS or dedicated servers it would be fine to host IRC?
