Ummm... Why Do I Have Negative Mycents?

Recommended Posts

Wow, dude, can you ever get out of that? As for mine, will I be still able to earn money when I have negative MyCent's? When you say "one-liners," what are you referring to? What does Xisto count as a one-liner?

Yes you will be able to get out of that by posting.

When you say "one-liners," what are you referring to? What does Xisto count as a one-liner?

Something like

Just over an hour ago I had about 68 MyCents. Now I'm in the negatives....

A "one-liner" is anything less than what is specified in the section "Short Posts" in the Xisto Board Rules (what you should have seen upon signing up to the forums). You don't lose myCENTs for one-liners, unless you edited your post and made it shorter. There are many reasons for losing credits. One of the reasons, as already mentioned, is for editing your posts and making them shorter. Another reason is if your post or topic was deleted—whether it be because you posted in a topic that got deleted or if your post itself was deleted. The former could be because you responded to a topic that was marked as "spam." We tend to avoid marking topics as "spam" if it has a significant amount of replies to it, but it is not always the case that there is a significant amount of replies to the topic. The latter could be because you posted a short post and therefore got deleted. Any other reasons could be due to moderator modifications, like adding code or quote bbcode to your post(s) where there should be.

@FruitRocksHi!I believe you've got negative myCENTs due to deleted threads. For example, the thread titled "Is Windows Hosting Safe?" appears in the sidebar on the left on the Xisto forums, but when I click on it, it tells me the post does not exist. You may have earned myCENTs from that thread, but now that it no longer exists, Xisto tells you you have a negative amount since they can't get back what was credited to your Xistro account.

For a start the quality of your posts are bad and 1 liners. Now have a look at mine at the right << (If you call that bad!)

All you have to do is post some good quality posts and that should go down in 1 post.

Jeez, this guy had -68 mycents............ You have negative 508 mycents! Jeez! How did you manage to do that............... Did you get fined or something?
