whyme 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 I've taken a look at the website and the documentation for SmartFox, it appeears that you need full server access in order to install it. Because of this, I don't think you can install it via your web hosting account. Your best try would be to give it a little "test-drive" on your own computer. iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 19, 2009 Smartfox and joomlaSmartfox InstallationI am using smartfox for a project I am working on and Joomla for the website for the game. I would not recommend having both on the same server if you want any sort of real scale. I am installing both under centos on virtual servers on a quad processor Dell with 8 gig of ram. this will be my test environment, the live will be three similar servers, 2 for web with a load balancer (not sure what joomla will make of this) and one for smartfox, or crackfox I like to call it (I love the boosh) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
